About the Role

  • Responsible for leading, directing and ultimately growing the Solution Delivery department, ensuring the correct mix of knowledge and experience to deliver a market-leading service.

  • Prioritize, manage, and oversee multiple solution design and software development projects pipeline based on resource/cost/ effort estimation & TCO

  • Oversee product delivery of technology solutions within budget, timeline and quality

  • Provide application support, post live support of the solution

  • Improve software development process to ensure quality assurance (QA), repeatability, reusability, maintainability and scalability

  • Ensure design and delivery governance practices as well as process metrics to minimize cost wastage and business disruption

  • Ensure that relations and effective communication with business partners and clients, both internal and external are maintained

  • Manage and operate team, outsources and vendors

  • Collaborate with related functions for solution delivery such as product, engineering, and business for optimized project handling

  • Introduce and explore new enablement technologies for process improvement, performing proof of concept if necessary. Work with OE to drive for expanded application of enablement technologies to assist with process improvement

  • Be an escalation point for all matters related to project execution and operate as a primary point of contact for the Solution Delivery department members.

  • Provide leadership and technical expertise for clients

  • Perform training, and appraisal of all members of the Solution Delivery department, providing clear direction for skills enhancement and career development.

  • Responsible for a full employee life cycle, including but not limited to

    • Hiring the right people into the department

    • Make sure the new employees are onboarded into the department in a way that makes them feel instantly part of the team and at home at H Lab

    • Perform probation reviews and make appropriate decisions based on the probation review

    • Make sure all employees have a development plan and that the plan is executed so all employees can see their career path 

    • Perform formal appraisals every year

    • Have regular 1:1 with all employees to make sure employees feel seen and cared for

  • Be responsible for building and nurturing a good culture and relationship in the department. 

  • Ensure that employees are optimally productive (billable hours) according to Engineering guidelines and company KPI’s

  • Provide input for staff allocation to projects and engagements according to their skill level and interests

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field

  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in Technology & Business Solution, Digital Transformation, or related fields

  • Experienced and demonstrated success leading and delivering technology solutions, and transformation

  • Hands-on technology leadership with proven records

  • Ability to manage multiple solution delivery projects in parallel to support operation and transformation for business growth

  • Strong knowledge and experience in multiple areas of IT and Technology, including software, web, and mobile development, solution architecture design, cloud computing, workflow, automation, DevOps, databases, API and more

  • Manage the software development cycle in an Agile/SCRUM environment, managing major and minor releases.

  • Able to provide leadership and develop integrated application plans and roadmaps that address current state challenges as well as future state targets.
